Alexsandria's Aloha
Thank you for taking the time to get to know more information about me. Before I speak about myself, I would like to acknowledge my Heavenly Father and loving savior Jesus Christ for everything that I am. I am eternally grateful for the opportunities both my personal life and work experience have taught me. Through His Grace and Mercy, I have been abundantly blessed and enriched to serve in the best capacity that allows His goodness to endure and persevere. It is the Lord's light that strengthens me to support others during their most difficult times, and for that I praise and glorify the Lord Jesus's mighty name. I owe all glory and honor to Him. If you are still reading, then you likely have found the right place for you. #GratefulHeart
Please let me introduce myself (cue hula drumroll please). My name is Alexsandria F. Lose`, often known as Alexis. I am a licensed psychotherapist who has experience serving in the mental health field for over 15 years. These multiple years of service have been in numerous settings. I began service as a paraprofessional walking side-by-side with youth, families and adults to support those suffering from afflictions. These multiple years as a paraprofessional gave me unique insight and inspiration to further advance my education. Long after previously earning a Bachelor's degree from San Jose State, this inspiration encouraged me to attend graduate school where I earned a Master's degree from Palo Alto University. This Masters degree allowed me to advance my career to serve as a psychotherapist, where I am blessed to do what I love and love what I do!
I am a devoted woman of faith who believes whole-heartedly in the transformative power of Jesus Christ. "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." (2 Corinthians 5:17). When permitted, I combine the evidenced based teachings of psychotherapy with bible-based scriptures in order to strengthen your ability to overcome and resolve current or recurring mental health conditions. "For with God nothing shall be impossible" (Luke 1:37). One of my favorite quotes is "Nothing is Impossible, the very word says 'I'm possible!'"
I am the daughter of a devoted head Pastor who continues to serve the community and his congregation for over 32 years strong and counting. Being blessed as the child of a pastor, I have been privileged to directly witness the true miracles of life unfold with distinct purpose. I have sat in the front row seat to witness multiple accounts of how the power of faith in addition to sound counsel work obstacles out for good. "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28). I fully believe and know there is immeasurable relief to those who suffer from deep affliction of anxiousness, fear and sadness. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7). The level of courage is refreshingly integrated into each counseling session I offer. My style of psychotherapy combines the peaceful relaxation of my Polynesian heritage with the empowerment of truth found in every single person's MANA. Journey with me to my Island of Hope where we can create a safe and healthy therapeutic space to vacate your problems and refresh your life, let's find your true peace of paradise.
